The launch takes place in Albagula where team Thunderhorns try their luck in Japanese-game-show-style-games in hopes of earning an audience with Emperor Takeshi. Beyond that is a story arc that stretches past the reach of Lumosh and even the reach of our regular party as guest PCs aid our heroes in their attempts to defeat the blight! With season 1 wrapped, we wanted to let you know a bit about what you can expect in season 2, which premiers in March, after our 3 episode interlude: Mad Max Furry Road.
Well, the cat is out of the bag. I was keeping this work a secret from one of the D8 Night Players, but that player has started down the path toward making a new friend and knows the book exists now.

Will's Homebrew Barbarian Path is available on DM's Guild.
If you’ve ever entered the fray and wanted to slam two opponents together, be temporarily impervious to pain, or inspire bloodlust in your compatriots after dealing a deadly blow, then the Path of Fury is the way forward. The Path of Fury offers a new path for barbarians who don’t mind giving up certain resistances to perform ferocious exploits in battle. This path does for the barbarian what the Battlemaster archetype does for the fighter, but instead of learning maneuvers from practicing in the courtyard of some vassal’s keep, the Path of Fury grants access to exploits that have been honed in the heat of life or death battles. The path offers access to ferocity dice to fuel your choice of 17 exploits. It also includes the additional state of fury (an alternative to rage) where you sacrifice some resistance and damage bonuses for an increased chance to hit and the ability to perform unique attacks, inspire your allies, or cripple your enemies. This guide offers guidance on selecting a role-playing reason for taking the path, all of the features offered by the path, and a feat for those who want access to a limited number of exploits without truly becoming a barbarian. The path will be popular for those who want to multi-class into the first few levels of barbarian as well, since the fury state offers more mental clarity than that of the raging barbarian, allowing for the casting of spells that don’t require concentration. The Path of Fury is not for the faint of heart, but you’re not that type. You are, after all, a barbarian Available for Free on DM's Guild with a "Pay what You Want" option.N
A compilation of magical maps to turn any journey into an adventure! The enigmatic gnome inventor wizard Krinkle Firetouch is no stranger to magic items. In fact, he has made a few of his own over the years while holed up as a hermit in almost every conceivable dimension. This book contains 5 magic maps, including Krinkle Firetouch’s Map of Fast Travel; a map that allows a party to travel to a familiar location instantly — so long as they can avoid having to roll on the d100 malfunction table. The book also includes color commentary from Krinkle Firetouch himself; including what he thinks of traveling and how he feels about rival arcanist Sweazelbeak Stoneshiner. Will's book of magic items from the D8 Night Podcast campaign is available on DM's Guild.
It has all of your favorite magic items from the show and some you don't even know you love yet. Spoiler alert: There are items in this book that have not yet been distributed in the episodes that are currently live! |
